Twilight: Goleta Valley
There is a wonderful glow to our mountain range during winter sunsets. It lasts for about 20 minutes and changes constantly. I sketched this on location at a small pocket park in Goleta, and painted at home. Working from a sketch , rather than a photo, keeps me more in tune with the feelings of the scene and allows a bit more creative license
