Ocean Kisses the Shore
I have lived and walked in Goleta since that mid 1980’s. This was the first beach I found while attending UCSB. The tides change continually and at times the shore is completely covered in waves. Other times you can walk across easily. I love the sounds of the ocean and the calming effect of the moist air. Painting on location allows me several hours to absorb the ‘good energy ‘ go the sea. I return to my daily activities feeling refreshed and calm. Each time I go out painting I continue working to abstract the shapes and colors.
