Short Walk | Long Trail

Join us for a leisurely walk on a beautiful coastal segment of the California Missions Trail in Carpinteria, Callifornia with long-distance walker and guidebook author Sandy Brown.

Missions Trail MapWe will meet in the parking lot of Viola Fields in Carpinteria, near the stone restrooms, at 4 pm on Wednesday, January 28th, for a 1.5-mile walk along the coastal bluff-top trails that form the present-day route of the California Missions Trail and other living heritage trails that pass through Carpinteria. We will have a drawing for a range of prizes, including a signed copy of his book: The California Missions Trail: From Sonoma to San Diego. At the end of the walk, we will gather at Linden Square for refreshments. Rides back to Viola Fields will be available if needed.
